Flies

I stumble down into the crowd

They Stare. They watch me.

They await to see how quickly I should trip

Their deep eyeless eyes search. They want mine.

Yet, they do not make a move.

The ground is so smooth, So soft.

I should pet my hands onto the dirt and be lost.

Surely, it would be easier with their eyes behind me.

Should I just give them what they expect? What they feen to see?

No more pressure once I shall press upon the ground.

However, it is not something I often apply-- to please others eye.

I close my heart, I repel their lies.

I loose touch, I push back, I cut ties.

But what shall be my prize? For standing alone amongst such flies.

Always waiting, always watching for me to bend my knee.

Alone with The Lonely People

Liquor. Pulsations. Strangers & Strange rubs.

Fingertip touches. (accidently on purpose)

Anything. We want to feel.

We wish to live a lively life.

A sonic story in which we are not alone, but lonely together.

Catch my eye. Chase my waist.

You can't  seem to find me -

Although, this night, these drinks,  and strobe lights always bring me crawling back to you.

Might I inquire, what you would do?

Well, I would dance with me

I would grab my hand and spin my body so fast I forget the feeling of moving forward.

Going forward and waisting precious time. I'd loose the time that was mine.

I shall stand right here in the duality of our presence.

My love, what you mean to me.

What you do to me. How you live through me.

I hate you.

Only with you, I am lonely, but you won't leave me alone.

I tire of your lonely love so I found a place to dwell among the lonely people.

Where no one speaks, but all harmoniously understand.

We feen distractions. We dance for the dark.

We love the liquor, it makes us smile.

It is cold and you are outside , my love. (Bittersweet and bitter)

But, I'm not sorry. I like this party, and in this party you don't belong.

So, my dear, leave me here and let me drain you out.

So many choices. So many voices. I can finally think aloud.

I let you go, but I'll always have you  back with a sip and a smile.

I'm gonna stay awhile.

Here I am alone with the lonely people.

Running Inside to Hide

Stretching my soul about a mile wide

I feel the breathing, the lives of those I shield inside.

They struggle; they suffer

They push deep in my side

They cannot be seen, they do not understand

but I know they must hide.

In this life of racing cars only those with shields shall survive

For those exposed to what god knows they will not stay alive.

If I can reach further, reach farther! then the more I can revive

But my humanity limits my ability to protect those who cannot drive

In this life of winding roads, those unable to grab the wheel

Shall learn to no return the story how Achilles lost his heel

I choose to close my eyes and reach my arms wide

I shield my mind, I stay inside, In here I shall reside.

2-16

I am confined, but pleased with my prison.

I   choose to be still.

I stay and I smile.

I smile because I am alone. I am so free.

There is no one to challenge who and what I want to be.

I can be myself in myself and never worry about what others think they see.

Because the only, single opinion that matters  is my own of me.
